Hello everyone! My name is Paolo and I live in Livorno (Leghorn), Tuscany.

I come from a family of art enthusiasts. My parents taught me the first rudiments of drawing and painting. Drawing has always been my greatest passion, from childhood it was one of my preferred games, so much so that I enrolled myself at an art school in my town, in order to cultivate my natural abilities.

Over time I have tested many techniques, utilizing pastels, pencils and oils. I have exhibited my pictures occasionally at art exhibitions in Tuscany, receiving positive reviews. I am always bewitched by portraits. It is the impression that emerges that attracts me, it is provocative, succeeding in reproducing intensity in a glance; evoking emotion in whoever observes the finished work.

When I paint I feel that I am transported into another dimension. Imagination slowly takes form before my eyes, I don't think of anything else and concentrate only on the work that I am executing at that moment.
